The Southeast CDC is providing funds from the Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative to improve vacant lots in the CARE community. Civic Works is leading the project and is hiring young people through AmeriCorps to manage the vacant lot improvements. AmeriCorps provides a college stipend as well as valuable work experience.
