ABOUT THE DISTRICT
The Highlandtown Arts & Entertainment District (ha!) is the city’s most eclectic arts district, filled with public art, painted screens, piñata makers, and parades. In Highlandtown, furniture makers and jewelry makers work alongside coffee roasters and culinary artists. Restaurants and art galleries welcome patrons during our First Friday Art Walks, where you’ll find a pop-up art installation or musical performance waiting around the next corner.
The Southeast CDC is the coordinator of the Highlandtown Arts & Entertainment District designation and partners with many artists, venues, and organizations in the district on creative placemaking, performances, and events.
