Location: 3201 Eastern Avenue, adjacent to High Grounds Coffee
Community members and business owners participated in a “Creative Placemaking” workshop to determine the permanent improvements to the site and voted on a new mural (called “Highlandtown Shakedown” by Ezra Berger), lighting, streetscape improvements, custom hot pink Highlandtown trash cans, and more!
The project was funded by Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s Community Legacy program, Healthy Neighborhoods, Inc., and Highlandtown Business Association.
