FUND OUR YOUTH BIKE WORKSHOP

Donate

Southeast CDC is renovating a former gas station at 2912 Pulaski Highway in Southeast Baltimore into a workshop for the Baltimore Bike Experience (BBX). BBX creates a safe environment where people of different backgrounds, ages, and genders can come together to learn repair and maintenance, safe riding, and community building. BBX currently meets once a week in a small Highlandtown storefront with an average of ten youth and three adult mentor volunteers. By relocating the workshop, BBX will double its workshop space and increase programming days from one day to three days per week.

SUPPORT COMMUNITY SCHOOLS FAMILIES

Donate

Southeast CDC is the non-profit partner for five Community Schools in Southeast Baltimore:  John Ruhrah in Greektown, Highlandtown #237, Tench Tilghman in CARE, William Paca in McElderry Park, and Highlandtown Elementary/Middle #215.

We staff each school with a full-time community school coordinator who provides resources to meet family’s food, health and academic needs.

Southeast CDC raises funds to provide donations of household supplies, school supplies, uniforms,  coats and winter gear so students are prepared to start the school year ready to learn. We also offer gift cards to help families who have experienced emergencies like a house fire or other family tragedy.
