Southeast Community Development Corporation is pleased to announce the Board of Directors has selected Kari Snyder as the organization’s Executive Director. In February, Chris Ryer resigned as Executive Director to become Baltimore City’s Director of Planning. Kari had served as Interim Director since that time.
Kari joined Southeast CDC in 2009 from Baltimore’s Healthy Neighborhoods, Inc. She has moved through the organization from a focus on residential and commercial revitalization to a leadership role in Community School, housing counseling and youth programs. More recently, Kari has been a leader in formulating and executing Southeast CDC’s 2018 strategic plan.
Outside of work hours, you’ll catch Kari playing with her three-year-old daughter, taking on another home renovation project and supporting her husband’s birding adventures.
